Olivier Awards 2020

We're delighted that Oi Frog and Friends!, starring client John Winchester, has been nominated for Best Family Show in the 2020 Olivier Awards.

Winners were due to be announced in April but the ceremony has had to be postponed due to Covid 19. Plans are to reschedule for Autumn 2020.

Ambitious Texan oil executive Mac MacIntyre arrives in Scotland on a mission to buy a small seaside village and replace it with a refinery. It’s the deal of a lifetime, but Mac soon finds that putting a price on this beautiful spot is more complicated than he bargained for. Before the locals get rich, they must decide what their home is worth.

After the hugely successful run in 2019, the hit comedy film Local Hero takes to the stage as John Crowley (BrooklynThe Goldfinch) directs a new musical adaptation by David Greig (Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax) with music and songs by the legendary Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits). An Old Vic and Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh Production.

in Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland 2019

We're delighted to announce that so many productions with clients were nominated recently for the 2019 CATS: 

Ulster American (Robert Jack); My Left Right Foot (Richard Conlon); Lost at Sea (Jennifer Black & Gerry Mulgrew); The Dark Carnival (Elicia Daly, Ann Louise Ross, Laurie Scott)
Pride and Prejudice* (*Sort of) (Christina Gordon).

Winners were announced at the Tramway on Sunday 9th June with Ulster American scooping Best Production and Best New Play, along with Lost at Sea taking Best Ensemble and Best Director (Ian Brown). My Left Right Foot was awarded Best Music and Sound. Congratulations to all those involved!

in 2018 Festival Awards Image Description

Delighted to announce that Ulster American, with client Robert Jack, has scooped up the prestigious Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award after its run at the Edinburgh Festival 2018, as well as taking a Fringe First Award during week one of the festival.

My Left Right Foot, with client Richard Conlon, also took home a Fringe First Award in week two of the festival, and a Herald Angel Award.

in Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland 2018

This year's awards took place at Perth Theatre on Sunday 10th June. We are delighted to announce that client, Robert Jack, won the award for Best Male Performance for his role as Berenger in the hit production Rhinoceros at the Royal Lyceum Theatre

Rhinoceros had huge success with nominations in several categories, taking away awards for Best Production, Best Music & Sound, and Best Director - Murat Daltaban.

The Belle's Strategem took the award for Best Ensemble, with clients Richard Conlon and Helen MackayAugust: Osage County, with clients Beth Marshall and Ann Louise Ross, and Rhinoceros, with client Robert Jackwere also nominated.

Monarch of the Glen, with clients James Rottger, Ali Watt, and Benny Young, won the award for Best New Play, whilst Flight, with clients Maryam Hamidi and Robert Jack, managed to secure nominations in Best Design, Best Technical Presentation, and Best Production, taking away the award for Best Design.

The Citz' Christmas production, Cinderella, was nominated for both Best Production for Children and Young People and Best Technical Presentation, with clients Peter Collins and Caroline Deyga.

Olivier Awards 2017 Image Description

Delighted to announce that Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour, with clients Caroline Deyga & Kirsty Findlay, has won Best New Comedy at the Olivier Awards 2017!

A co-production between the National Theatre of Scotland and Live Theatre, that has toured both the UK and internationally, including a sold-out run at the National.

The production will transfer to the West End this May (see further below for details).

Benny has won The Stage Award for Acting Excellence for his role of Tom in Owen McCafferty's Unfaithful.  Directed by Rachel O'Riordan at the Traverse Theatre, part of the Edinburgh Fringe 2014.
